finally: a taste of mellow dramas… (august 07)
after umpteen compilation contributions and prestigeous guest album features, it’s about time for the first JEN solo release (imagine a drum roll here…). the 5 track online EP “a taste of mellow dramas” will be released through german label imprint poets club records (www.poetsclubrec.com) end of june and available at all relevant download platforms. stay tuned for details.

“a taste of mellow dramas” includes four of JEN’s favourite poems by the way, bathing in superb sound provided by formerly g-stoned duo kieser.velten, cologne collective solar moon, the busy people from vienna, and mr. can7 of peppermint jam fame. like the EP title implies, “a taste of mellow dramas” comes as an appetizer to the full length “mellow dramas” album main course, to be served later this year.

two brandnew and dub heavy mixcompilations featuring JEN are ready for release end of june as well…

the notoriously brilliant (and highly mysterious) production team 7 samurai mixed a big lil’ something called “poets dub”, celebrating a decade of poets club records and distributed through soul seduction. “poets dub” (nice name, we say…) includes a dreamy JEN collabo with solar moon, as well as more bass driven tracks and mixes by top notch sonic folks like brian eno, waldeck, stereotyp and digital jockey, to name a few.

when i love all that jazz… (may 07)
after putting finishing touches to his second album effort as a leader in berlin / germany, first call trumpet jazz master christoph titz (yes, that’s his real name…) was so intrigued by the included JEN feature “when I love” that he decided to name the complete album after the track. “when I love” will be released in autumn of 2007. for now, check christoph’s wonderful music here (www.myspace.com/christophtitz).
